This helmet belonged to the character Alva the Wayfarer in the popular game series, Dark Souls. While it is the same base helmet from the game, some liberties were taken in coming up with a unique, bronze finish with a rich patina.

The build is made entirely out of EVA foam which makes it a safe, durable, and lightweight helmet. After the construction, the surface was sealed with several layers of Mod Podge mixed with paint, and a final coat with an added mixture of bronze pigment powder. Once dried, various spray paint cans were used to achieve the desired patina effect.
